Desiree Moore

Desiree Moore

Desiree Moore, President
I am originally from southern California and have lived in Eugene for the past 27 years. I met my husband and had my children in Eugene, which I consider to be my home.

The things I enjoy most are my grandson, family, music and gardening. My professional passion is real estate. I am an investor, but probably more than anything, a volunteer. It’s easy for me to reach out and offer help and expertise. My professional background has been almost all in retail sales, and I have owned several businesses in Lane County.

I received the OABA Businesswoman of the Year Award in 2000, and the MLK Award for service above self in 1997. I am a CAT Team member for the EWEB Riverfront Redevelopment Project. I participate in the Butte to Butte. I love biking and the Oregon coast.

Teamwork and integrity has always been a high priority for me. I am eager to be a positive part of the solution for our local foreclosure crisis.

Barb Thomas

Barb Thomas

Barbara Thomas, Vice President
I came to real estate as a second career after many years as a successful marketing executive in the medical software arena.

My interest in real estate coalesced from the experience of dealing with my mother’s progressive Parkinson’s disease. Knowing that her health would continue to decline and her care needs increase over time, I understood that it would be critical to get the maximum value possible for her home when it was sold.

That let me to one of my areas of specialty in Seniors Real Estate, where I feel that I offer a true service to my clients and their families. Distressed Properties and Foreclosure Prevention are a natural extension of this, and, in the current economic market, may go hand-in hand.

Tara Barron

Tara Barron

Tara Barron, Secretary
I grew up in the Veneta area and began my real estate career in 1988 in property management. Over the next 19 years worked in many specialized areas of the industry including commercial, campus/student housing and manufactured home communities.

In 2006 I moved into the sales side of real estate focusing on new construction, first time homebuyers and investment. Over the last 3 years I have earned numerous awards, including being ranked #7 in Lane County for top listing agents.
In early 2009 I became more aware of the need for trained professionals to help with our growing local foreclosure epidemic, and so I have now added distressed properties to my portfolio. Having special training in this area and being part of a well-equipped team of trusted professionals, I bring assistance, education and some peace of mind to those homeowners in mortgage distress. I offer discretion, sensitivity and professionalism to help those homeowners who do not know what to do or where to turn.

Gary Raze

Gary Raze

Gary Raze, Treasurer
I taught elementary and middle school students for 33+ years in the Eugene 4J School District before transitioning to my second love – residential real estate. Since then I have helped to successfully guide many buyers and sellers through their residential transactions. Many of them are former students or their parents who trusted me with their real estate needs as they did with an education. I guess I still teach, only now the subject is real estate.

When I’m not working, I enjoy performing and entertaining in a local barbershop quartet. I also like to run and have competed in several marathons as well as Eugene’s Butte-to-Butte race.

I grew up, was educated, and educated others in Oregon and love what I do.
